    Hello,

In GTMetrix I am getting the following issue

‘Resized in HTML or CSS from 1772×1772 to 682×682. Serving a scaled image could save 244.0KiB (85% reduction).’

Original image size is 1772×1772 but on upload different sizes are generated one being 700×700. Should it not use that as it is the best sized image for 682×682?

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Howdy!

Can you try going to WooCommerce > Status > Tools, then click the Regenerate shop thumbnails option?

If that doesn’t work, try this plugin:

Let us know how it goes! 🙂

No problem! Let us know how it goes! 🙂

If you do have WP-CLI access on the site server you can use this command wp media regenerate --yes
    https://developer.ww.wp.xz.cn/cli/commands/media/regenerate/

Thumbnail regen completed. Still same issue though 🙁

Have you tried Luke’s method yet? If you need help with CLI, I’d recommend contacting your hosting provider and asking them to run the command.

Otherwise, check to see if this is a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

My host did the regen by CLI.

I will do some more digging but never had a issue before with this theme and no new plugins have been added.

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
