Image Size Too Wide

    When Postie inserts an inline image, the image is added to the post at the full original size but is correctly sized when stored in the media library.

    On the sample page, I had to manually replace the Postie inserted image with the one from the media library.

    On this image, it was wider than the displayed page and was cropped to the right.

    Could Postie resize images as per media settings first please?

    I realise this may be a big exercise.

    Is Preferred Text Type set to plain or html?

    With html the image is exactly what was in the email. It may be that your theme doesn’t handle it well.

    Postie by default does not modify your message.

    If you want me to look into it a bit further I’d need you to install the Support AddOn and run another test then send me the logs.

    Thanks. I will try to persuade the user to resize correctly before sending it.

    If that fails, I will reopen the problem.
