Image upload issue in sliders

    I’ve recently inherited a wordpress site and have been asked to upgrade the content for general use. I’ve come across some issues with editing the content of the slider plugin that we have sitting on the homepage. Whenever I try to load new images in to the slider I get hit with “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” The images are loading to and showing up in my media library just fine; its just getting them into the slider plugin that is the problem.
    I’ve tried activating and deactivating my plugins to test for interference, I’ve tried using alternate slider plugins (WP Carousel, Slider Revolution and 2-3 others), I’ve tried adjusting the size/format of my images, I’ve tried loading from my media library as well as loading directly from my computer.

    I’m really not sure what to do

    What slider plugin are you using? If you’re not sure, you can provide the URL and we may be able to tell from that.
