    Hello,

I’m having an issue when uploading images to my WordPress site. After disabling the theme and all plugins (one by one), I was able to confirm 100% that the problem is caused by the “Super Page Cache” plugin.

When uploading multiple images through the official WordPress Media Uploader, with all plugins deactivated and the theme disabled, some images show a “retry” message during the upload process and take around 20–30 seconds to upload after 3 or 4 retries.

I’ve reviewed all the plugin settings and disabled many of them, but the issue still persists. I really like this plugin and would love to keep using it. I hope you can help me find a solution so I can enable the plugin again without this problem.

Can anyone help me, please? I’ve tried PHP 8.2 and PHP 8.3, and I’ve also tried GD and Imagick, and the problem is exactly the same.

    Hi @bolini,

I’m unable to replicate the upload problem you’re experiencing. This suggests it may be related to your specific server configuration or environment.

To help diagnose the issue, could you please:

    1. Check your browser console for errors:

    • Open your browser’s Developer Tools (press F12)
    • Go to the “Console” tab
    • Try uploading images and look for any error messages
    • Take a screenshot of any errors that appear

    2. Check your server error logs:

    • Access your server’s error log through your hosting control panel, or look for any errors that occur during the time you’re uploading images. Share any relevant error messages

    3. Check the Network tab:

    • In Developer Tools, go to the “Network” tab
    • Upload an image and see which request is taking 20-30 seconds
    • Click on that request and check for any error codes or response details

Once you provide this information, I’ll be better able to identify what’s causing the conflict with your specific setup.
