    Hello,

My website is erolhardonk.com, wordpress 6.7.2 running twentytwelve theme, i use nextgen gallery version 3.59.10.

Nextgen displays the photos i uploaded before as aspected but when i try to upload new photos it does not work and i get a warning: Undefine array key “width” in /home/erolhard/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/src/Legacy/admin/manage.php on line 227 and line 228. I have tried deactivating all other plugins and change theme but this does not solve the problem.

    How to solve this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    correction, the warning is actually:

Undefined array key “width” in /home/erolhard/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/src/Legacy/admin/manage.php on line 227.

Undefined array key “height” in /home/erolhard/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/src/Legacy/admin/manage.php on line 228.

    Hi @erolhard11,

    Thank you for reaching out,

To fix the warning message appearing, I recommend resetting NextGen Gallery plugin’s settings.

While this wouldn’t affect your gallery images, this will reset all the gallery settings to their default values.

We suggest doing a site and database backup first before proceeding to reset the plugin’s settings.

You can reset NextGen Gallery settings from “NextGen Gallery > Other Options > Reset Options > Reset all options”.

Please let me know of your results.

    Thanks!

    Hello Barsha,

Thank you for your reaction, but resetting the gallery to default values did not work, i still can not upload images and the same warning message appears when trying to do so.

I am open for new ideas.

    Hi @erolhard11,

    Thanks for the update,

The error usually appears when the script expects an image or object to have defined width and height but, for some reason, they’re missing. So could you please try once uploading some other new image than the one you are currently uploading and check if it helps you or not!

Let me know the updates and I will get back to you.

    Thanks

    Hi Barsha Paudel,

I already tried to upload different images but the upload fails and the warning message keeps appearing, also images i was able to upload before fail to upload now. Uploading in the media library does work but then importing the image in the nextgen gallery does not.

    Thank you for helping.

    Hi @erolhard11,

    Thanks for the update,

I suggest you download a fresh copy of the latest NextGEN Gallery and, then replace the one from your site’s Dashboard > Plugins > Add new plugin > Upload plugin > Choose File (with the files’ override when being asked) to see if that’ll fix the issue?

Let me know the updates and I will get back to you.

    Thanks.
