Yes, I have been reading the topic “Image/Media Uploader problems”. But it’s still not working. I have been trying one million different soloutions, but EVERYTIME I get the RED X.

Can anyone PLEASE help me? I’m getting really mad. But looking forward to any suggestion 🙂

I have reinstalled wp, tried different pictures and nothing yet is working…

Have you tried using another browser? Or another machine?

Yes. Have tried both PC and Mac, Explorer and Safari. It’s still the same.
I allways get the red x where the picture should be…
    No preview either…

    But thanks…

Now I got the message “http-error” when I’m trying to upload.

    Got an idea?

I’ve had this problem for each of my wordpress installs and I have finally figured it out.

On your server directory in wp-content folder create a new folder call ‘uploads’

Then login to wordpress and under the Settings –>Miscellaneous
there is a section asking ‘Store Uploads in this folder’ enter wp-content/uploads (even if it says something else or is blank)

    This worked (finally!) for me
