image urls problem

    When using the visual editor I can upload images and using the left-click menu send them to the editor as thumbnails. However, if I try to move an image around the page it disappears and I just get a text link. Looking at the HTML, the path the uploaded image is wrong, but for images that haven’t been moved it is correct.

    WordPress (2.0.5) is installed in a folder off the root (/main) but is accessible from the root, which is where the problem lies I think: the /main bit of the URL is dropped when moving the images.

    Any ideas?

    Known bug: don’t drag/drop etc.
    Just use the send button!

    No – I don’t mean drag and drop to get the image into the editor. I mean once it’s in there (I do use the ‘send’ button to insert) One minute the thumbnail displays fine the next it disappears if I adjust at all. Or is that a known bug too? I assumed that as the link just lost the /main bit it was a result of me altering the WordPress installation.
