• I run WP1.5 and Kubrick. When I use the upload tab to put an image on the server to use in a post, I get to set the width. The photos look OK in FireFox on my Mac, but they don’t display properly in Safari.

I guess I want to know: What size does Kubrick “want” the images to be?

Bonus Question: If I want to post a picture, do I really need to upload it, copy the URL for the img tag then create a new post, or can I somehow get the photo upload tools to appear in the new post screen?

  • Kubrick doesn’t “want” an image size. It’s no different than any site design you use — you have to determine where it will go, and what size you want it to be.

Bonus question: You will need some kind of image-handling plugin to do that.

Regarding a “default” image size, I understand that I can use any, but right now, (at least in Safari) the image is being distorted. It’s taller and narrower than I set it to be.

And, how wide is the content column in Kubrick’s default configuration? That’s the width I’d like images to be.

Thanks, also for the pointer on the bonus question… I can’t find one yet, but I’m still looking.

OK… I’m not that stupid. I’ve answered my own question (a little, anyway): The “default” imaged width that Kubrick seems to “want” is 500 pixels. That’s the default width of the left column.

Hi, I’m thinking about to migrate from MT to WP but in kubrik theme, I found myself th left cloumn is a bit narrower than I need.
I’d like to add aproximately 100px to left column, but don’t know how.
I’ve chaned from 760 px to 860 px of width value in .CSS but somehow the layout didn’t fall into right place.
Could anybody please tell me how or even point me where I can find some references?
