    Hi, I have added text to image, but upon sharing via Facebook text disappears and only picture gets shared.

    So, as I see, than text is not a part of an image. It is just some html text.
    So if you need to share that text as description for every Facebook post than please add alt attribute with needed text for every of your image.

    Hi! Thanks for reply. I’m using WordPress text block for adding my text to image and was hoping to have an option where image + text block text can be shared together as one.

    Alt attributes does not match my need for text to be added directly over the image and then shared together.

    Alt attribute won’t be visible anywhere. It is just some hidden attribute that is additionally used by plugin to specify sharing description.

    Hi. Thanks for reply. I think we are talking about different things here. Please see link above and as you can see images has few custom WordPress text blocks added and I would like to share images with custom text box together. I was looking for a way to share all together without using caption/alt text image as image info source.

    You want to share that text as description for the image or in the same view as inside wp page – as text overlay?

    Well, as I say, it is not possible, because that text is not part of the image. It is just some plain text.

    To share this image with text overlay you first need to create such an image with text, and then you will be able to share that.
