ImageBrowser instead lightbox

I am trying to work out how to make a gallery load thumbnails, but when a thumbnail is clicked it loads the Image Browser.

I have seen people reference this and say they have done it eg: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/ng-200-imagebrowser-instead-the-effect

but no-one explains the solution. I cant work it out.

Using NextGen 2.0.76
