    With all of the recent updates, Imagely has become virtually unusable. When attempting to import images into galleries, all images do not import, the sorting function does not work correctly, and what used to take minutes to accomplish now takes an hour or longer. I often import upwards of 100+ photos into galleries, and if I’m lucky maybe 20 of those make it in. I then have to search through what I’ve already uploaded and figure out what was missed. Can things go back to the way they used to be, when things actually worked?

    Whether I attempt to sort by filename or date added, nothing shows up in the order that it should. When the app was still labeled as Nextgen, everything worked seamlessly. I have thousands and thousands of photos imported into hundreds of galleries, and I really don’t want to have to find another program and re-do everything from scratch.

    Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. I’m truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you’re encountering with the recent updates in NextGEN Gallery. A smooth workflow is crucial, especially when handling large volumes of photos, and I understand your frustration.

    We are aware of an internal issue within NextGEN Gallery’s code that can impact image uploading performance on some servers, and we’re actively working on improving this. Just to clarify, this code existed in the 3.x versions as well.

    Regarding the sorting issue, we’ve noted the problem with sorting not saving correctly in the new UI, particularly with large galleries, and we’re making efforts to address this.

    While reverting to the older design isn’t feasible, we are collecting feedback and working to enhance the current UI based on user reports like yours.
