Images are inserted into posts twice

Hello,

I’m having a problem with my theme. When I insert an image into a post via the dashboard, although it previews fine in the dashboard, when I view the page in the blog the image has been inserted twice.

If I switch back to the default theme inserted images only appear once so I can tell it’s a problem with the theme I’m developing but I have no idea where i should begin looking for the problem. I assume that image insertion is dealt with via a function, but am not sure which ones I should be examining.

Any suggestions would be very gratefully received.
