images in blockquote

    i want to have 3 images for my blockquotes. one at the top, and one at the bottom, then another below that. I have tried every way I can think of, but can’t get it to work. Best i can do is add the image under the blockquote, then use an extra tag like <div class=”quotepic”></div> after my blockquote close tag.

    I can’t use a single image for the quoted area because of different size quoted text. Any ideas on what I can do? I coudnt find much info on editing the blockquote code in wordpress or I would just try to add 3 tags to it.

    use css, something like this:

    blockquote {
    color: #06c;
    margin: 0 0 0 5px;
    padding: 5px 15px 0 15px;
    background: url(/wp-images/leftquote.gif) no-repeat top left;
    }

    and you can set multiple backgrouns by saying no-repeat location;
