I spent an enormous amount of time editing and annotating images of cards I have received from students. All of a sudden, when I try to display the gallery, the images do not show. If I click on the icon/thumbnail I get a pop up message stating image not found. When I try to use the gallery manager and click on the various galleries I have created I do not see any images. However, the galleries do show xx number of images. I created a new gallery last night, and uploaded some additional photos into an existing gallery. The new gallery seems to work fine and the new photos I uploaded into one of the older galleries show up. However, those photos I uploaded a few months ago seem to be lost. How can I find them?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @alanlipps,

The first thing I’d verify is the permissions for the gallery folder, its subfolders and files using an FTP file client like FileZilla. NextGen requires the permissions to be 755 for the folders and 644 for the files. This will also help you verify if the image files are in place in their gallery folders.
