I have got “Redirect Attachment links to posts” checked in Yoast SEO settings. Works well on my blog. Also, if I go to the media library, the image links have permalinks that are part of corresponding posts (like this one – http://www.guidingtech.com/53930/iphone-personal-shopping-assistant/operator-personal-shopping-assistant-6/, which gets redirected to the post).

But I am testing a new theme on test.guidingtech.com and there these images have standalone links (like this – http://test.guidingtech.com/operator-personal-shopping-assistant-6/) and these don’t get redirected to the posts, even though Yoast SEO is installed and has the exact same settings as it has on the main blog.

And when I go to ‘Edit’ screen of these images, things look totally same on both the test blog and the main blog. Like the image File URL on main blog is guidingtech.com/assets/postimages/2015/12/operator-personal-shopping-assistant-6.png and on the test blog, the image File URL is test.guidingtech.com/assets/postimages/2015/12/operator-personal-shopping-assistant-6.png …so, structure is the same.

I am unable to figure out what’s going on here. Why do these images have standalone links? Any ideas?
