The previous Image Widget worked just fine. I updated to the newest version (4.1) and it screwed up the lower photos on my landing page http://www.floeintl.com Also, now when I drag it over to “Page Widgets” when editing a page, I can’t load any images. All I get is a “Select An Image” button. When I click it nothing happens. I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating with no luck. Any idea of a fix? Or – where can I find an earlier version of this widget? By the way, I’m on a Mac & I’m using Safari as a browser.

I’m sorry to hear that. Has anything else been upgraded? Did you edit any of the plugin files originally? Perhaps the upgrade overwrote some modifications you’ve made in the past.

The broken admin experience sounds like a javascript conflict. If you use the browser inspector you might be able to see if there are javascript errors in the admin. If you see any, let me know what they say.

    Here’s the archive of releases:

Thanks for you quick reply, Peter. This site was not made or maintained by myself; I’m just the unfortunate one taking it over. I think your diagnosis is correct: the previous designer/developer modified the plugin, I updated it, thus the screw-up. Problem is, before updating, I improperly backed up the site, so I have no idea what the modifications were. I can’t find any javascript errors, either. I’ll keep digging and will let you know if I come up with anything. Thanks again.

Yep, the problem is with the Javascript. The previous developer tweaked the plugin which screwed everything up when the update was made. Thanks again for your help, Peter.

Clarification – the problem was not with the javascript. The previous developer screwed with the css. Earlier problem has since been fixed. Thank you.
