Images not really uploading

    I ran across this topic in another part of the forum, but it was never answered. I’m going to be switching servers but would like to know if there is a fix for this.

    Though I have read several posts on this topic and have tried several solutions, none have worked.

    My issue: though the ‘Upload New Image’ function progresses, nothing is ever truly uploaded. The nameplace appears but no image.

    Can’t say for sure what the issue is but I would guess it is either because the GD image library is not installed/working properly or an incorrectly specified upload directory.

    Hi,

    Check with these options:

    -. Assign 766 recursive permissions to wp-contents directory.
    -> Disable all the plugins and enable it one by one to find out the culprit.
    -> Make sure that you have set the correct upload path from wordpress admin area -> settings section.
    -> Contact your hosting service provider and make sure that GD Library is active on the server.
