images that are not hosted under \wp-content ?

    Hello,

    I’m currently testing CompressX on my website in free mode, and it’s great !

    I have a related question : I have images galleries that are not hosted under \wp-content but in a directory at the same level.

    I manage the upload and backup of these image galleries outside of WP, which does not affect automated WP backups.

    Is it possible to process these image galleries with the paid version ?

    In the free version, you can’t go higher than \wp-content.

    I’m tempted to upgrade to the paid version, but this is an essential point for me!

    Thanks for your feedback and we are happy to know that you like CompressX.

    To answer your question, CompressX is targeted at images within the WordPress media library (the uploads directory) and other custom folders located within the wp-content directory. Currently, it does not support optimizing folders located outside of the wp-content folder, even in the pro version.
