For anyone having problems with Yoast SEO plugin and also use Imperva WAF firewall I’d like to offer some insight on how to fix it.

For whatever reason Imperva is messing up some of the JS files that Yoast uses and causes it to break. The solution is to set some Exclusion rules to the Imperva cache settings.

Here is some of the files I added to the URL exclusion list:

    /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/block-editor-1630.js
    /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/classic-editor-1630.js
    /wp-includes/js/dist/vendor/react-dom.min.js
    /wp-includes/js/dist/vendor/react.min.js
    /wp-includes/js/dist/vendor/react-dom.min.js

Once I did this it fixed all the issues and it was working again properly.
