    Hi,

Since GA4 prompts for the need to set up the Google Consent Mode, I’ve installed the cookieyes plugin in the WordPress and associated the cookieyes app, and enabled [support GCM] in the avanced settings of the cookieyes app, does this mean that the GCM integration has been completed? Do I need to set anything else?

    Thanks!

    Hi @jackievon51,

    Greetings from CookieYes!

Please follow the method 2 in this documentation to implement Google consent mode. Also you can enable the Allow Google tags to fire before consent option to keep the GTM scripts unblocked while implementing GCM.

    Thank you for your reply,

I did read this document but it is specifically labeled under method 2: [CookieYes Plugin user need not add CookieYes script again.], Meaning I just need to paste that custom script into the HEAD right?

is there any additional action required? thanks!

    Hi @jackievon51,

You can add the custom script and GTM script above the wp_head() function in your active theme’s header.php file to ensure the order in step 2.
