Import atom?

    Has there been any discussion about having the ability to import an atom file? Atom is supposed to be for general archival of a blog as well syndication.
    I’m in a situation where I have an atom file of my brother’s old blog, and he’s on wordpress now and I would like to import the file. Thanks for any help.

    You have an atom file but not a RSS file? Writing an importer for atom would not be a trivial task.
