I use CleanTalk on all client websites. As I use a default list of plugin’s on each website, is it possible to import a text list of default folder URL exclusions so I can maintain one list for all clients in a single location?

    Hello.

You can use the Plugin Settings Templates: https://cleantalk.org/help/plugin-template. It is available for you with the Extra package, which you already have.

I was aware of the template but it truly doesn’t solve what I wanted. Let’s say I have a default list of 20 plugin URL that I wanted excluded. Sure I could have that in the template. Which I would have to restore to a single website. But I have almost 100 websites. Now what if I added a couple more URL’s. Sure I could update the template but then I would have to restore it on each website. For that amount of trouble, I do what I am currently doing. I have a default CleanTalk URL exclusion list in a Notepad which I update periodically when I get a warning that truly isn’t an issue. So I add the new URL to the list. But then I have to log into every website, go to the CleanTalk Security settings, copy/paste into the URL exclusions window and save. It would be great if you could have a URL for the location of the list which the plugin would pull from on a set timer, say once a day/week/month. Now instead of having to update 100, if not thousands of websites, a person could simply update the exclusions URL list. As far as ‘specific’ URL’s for each website, they could still be updated in the URL exclusion window.

Decades ago when I created websites from scratched, I used this method for keeping websites up to date with default settings. It was awesome.

So you can call me lazy but I call it being efficient. LOL

    Hello,

    Thank you for your waiting.

We’ve added the option to exclude the files containing URL exclusions.

All the changes have already been added to the 2.138 version. The Security plugin update guide is here:
