    Hi,

I’m trying to import Woocommerce customers from another store. I’ve exported them using the plugin, and trying to import them to the second store using this same plugin. I do need to edit the CSV file in Numbers first to change customer roles to wholesaler, but when I do that I get an error and values seem to be missing when column mapping, although when I open the CSV file on my laptop everything looks fine. Any idea how I can make this work?
Everything works fine if I import without editing the file, but I need to find a way to be able to edit it before import.

    Thanks!

    Hi @elisagilis,

It seems like the issue you are facing is because the CSV encoding might have changed when you saved the file. Please make sure that you save the file with UTF-8 encoding. You can try using spreadsheet applications like LibreOffice which has proven to be better in handling UTF-8 encoded files.

    Hi there,

I did save with UTF-8, that’s odd… I’m using Numbers on Mac so I’ll give LibreOffice a go, thank you!
