Import error; no log

I have been having trouble with imports.
The last one gave me an error after the step importing Users:
“Sorry, there has been an error.
The file does not exist, please try again.”Not sure what file it’s referring to, as the xml file was definitely parsed and the content imported, although I would like to process it further in import step 3+.
The plugin landing page here mentions an import log, but your plugin doesn’t even install a plugin folder in wp-content. So where’s the import log? I’d like to troubleshoot my import.
