Yes sure. This plugin is created to do it.
Read the documentation tab (into plugin once installed) to know how to do it.
You have to know which metadata you want to use.
I don’t think I was clear. One piece of data I need to import is a file associated with a users account (their resume). So in my csv is a column labelled “resumeFile”. This contains a path to a file. I want that file to get uploaded to my wordpress installation when I do the user import. Will your script do this? This doesn’t seem to be covered in the documentation.

Unfortunately this plugin only import users and their metadata.
What do you want is another task: import resumes, create an attachment, associate with the user.
We can create an addon for you if you need it to make it possible.
