Import function on Zotpress disappeared

    Hello everyone,

    My colleagues and I experienced some major problems on our wordpress website, where we used to reference with the zotpress plug-in. After updating to the latest Zotpress version yesterday (but we don’t know if it installed correctly (no option to re- install)), we are not able to import any references in Zotpress (import button seems to be missing) AND on the website one could only see a “spinning mechanical wheel” instead of the reference “[1]” for example and the same icon is displayed instead of the bibliography. As of now, you can’t see any references at all, even if the code is in the actual text. Please let me know if there’s something I can do to fix it.

    There’s no importing anymore — it’s live requests with caching. Can you post the shortcodes you’re using? There was a major rewrite and not all cases may be accounted for: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/zotpress-60-feedback?replies=38

    Hey! Thank you so much for the response. This is the “shortcode” we are using at the moment. Please note that we have approximately 700 references using the same system and at the moment we don’t see any references on Safari and a mechanical wheel on Firefox.
    [zotpressInText item=”{EMBABAJN}” format=”[%num%]”] and the shortcode for the bibliography is [zotpressInTextBib].

    Still doesn’t work. I copy/pasted it from your post but still, no citation mark ( [1] ) pops up, neither does the bibliography changes. Still blank – any suggestions?
