• Hi,
In the latest version (currently 3.27.1), the import kit is not functioning, and I received the error message “Unable to Download the Kit.” [https://cln.sh/JhCrY7bm] I just downgraded to the previous version, 3.26.x, and the import kit works without errors.

    Hi @im_niloy,

Could you elaborate on the issue with some screenshots or even a screencast and provide us with the website URL? https://www.loom.com/

I’d also suggest to try out safe mode. Go to Elementor > tools , choose “enable” to the Safe Mode setting, and click save changes.

“Safe Mode” is a safe environment that isolates Elementor and WordPress from all themes and plugins, it helps multiple users solve issues like this.

Read about the feature here: https://elementor.com/help/what-is-safe-mode/

If it did help, then there is a plugin/theme conflict that causes this issue, try to deactivate all plugins and turn them one by one till you find the culprit.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi there,

Thanks for contacting us and hope you are doing well and having a great day.

To rule out the possibility of a plugin or theme conflict, please deactivate all your plugins (besides Elementor ). If it solves the issue reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WP theme such as Twenty Nineteen and see if it makes any difference.

Also, this could happen due to our Elementor performance experiments you can try to deactivate them. To deactivate them you can go to Elementor > settings > features

Performance features currently in the experimental stage are:

    • Element Caching – Elements caching reduces loading times by serving up a copy of an element instead of rendering it fresh every time the page is loaded. When active, Elementor will determine which elements can benefit from static loading – but you can override this.
    • Inline Font Icons – This experiment renders icons as SVGs without loading the Font-Awesome and eicons libraries. Since SVGs are vector-based images which are rendered using the browser’s engine, they do not increase server requests which improves performance

I am looking forward to hearing back from you soon.

    Kind regards,

@miloss84 This is not what I am looking for. Can’t you reproduce this error on your side? I tested it on 3 websites, and it’s not working.

    Hi there,

Thank you for contacting me and for your patience.

<span style=”box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;”>Can you please check</span> your Default Kit, maybe it is corupted.

Here is what your should do in order to import your Kit:

    1. First of all, create a full website backup, this step is important.
    2. Go to the “WP Admin > Templates > Saved Templates > All” section.
    3. Find the “Default Kit” and Trash it (they’ll have to confirm Site Settings deletion).
    4. Go to the “Elementor > Tools > General” tab and click “Recreate Kit“.
    5. Try to import their Kit once again, it should work this time.

Looking forward to hearing back from you soon.

    Kind regards,
