    For the past few months, I haven’t been able to update my profile user database (approximately 1300 users). The process is done via a CSV file, and the import freezes. If I cancel, it only updates about 130 records.

    I’ve tried setting up a completely basic test WordPress site in case it was a hosting resource issue, but I still haven’t been able to get the import to complete.

    Since the import freezes even on a basic test WordPress setup, we will need to review the CSV file and the import configuration more closely.

    Could you please share the CSV file you are trying to import? Also, please confirm:

    • Which ProfileGrid version you are using
    • Whether you are importing new users or updating existing users
    • Which field is being used to match existing users, for example email address or username
    • Whether the issue always stops around the same number of records
    • If there are any errors in the browser console or WordPress/PHP error logs during import

    In the meantime, you can also try splitting the CSV into smaller batches, for example 100–200 users per file, and test the import again. This will help confirm whether the issue is related to a specific row/field value in the CSV or the overall import process.

    Once we have the CSV file and the above details, we will be able to check it further and guide you accordingly.
