Import or copy slider?

    Short question: is there a way to copy or import a slider from one WP site to another?

    Longer explanation: I am migrating my website from one URL to another. I was successful in moving the content of my pages, but it did not carry over the theme, media library or any of the plugins I created, including meta-slider.

    I created a slideshow with about 10 photos, links & text which I really dread having to recreate. Is there any way I can copy or import it to the new site?

    Hi there,

    I’m afraid there’s no specific migration tool for Meta Slider so if using the WordPress export tool the slides won’t be copied across as you’ve found.

    However everything is copied across if you migrate the site by exporting the WordPress database, this is the best way to migrate your site 100%.
