Import Posts with Users?

    Hi there! I recovered from my server confusion and am doing test exports and imports now. The WordPress import tool allows Users to be imported only as necessary based on the Posts included in the export.

    Can WP Import Export Lite do this too? I see that the first dropdown requires the admin to select only one WP content type, and inserting the magic tag for the username during import does NOT import the Users from the old site. Is it possible to migrate only the Users referenced in the Posts export?

    Hi,

    thanks for getting in touch.

    post export file contain only post data with few user data. so without complete user data plugin can’t import new user with post export.

    for have to export user and import that file

    Okay thanks. This is a feature from the default installer that is very useful (adding users based on reference in posts). You should consider adding it to your plugin.
