import sql – not bringing in pages & posts

    After issues with our host we have swicthed companys and were provided the backup of the database to allow us to do this. However, the file they have provided is not importing the pages/posts into the site, however, when opening the file as a text file I can see them.

    I have tried to import through myPhp with no luck and confused about this.

    Would anybody have any other ideas,
