hi there I’m looking for help with the ninja forms import and export.

I’m not entirely sure why this plug-in does not support instant migration capabilities but here we are.

I’m looking for help on how to import submissions. I am migrating my site to another host and using migration plugin none of the forms import using the plugin. So I went the manual route of individually exporting and importing all 150 of my ninja forms. Again, not sure why there is not a bulk export/import functionality in such a senior plugin.

Of course the other challenge is now that all of the forms import without their respective submissions. I am wondering how to do this without doing a DB transfer because that is outside of my scope. Is there any other way to do this, any add-ons or any plugins?

A message to the ninja forms developers. I would hope that you guys are working towards simplifying the migration process because I feel like this might be a really big problem for a lot of people and I’m sure you guys are not unaware that this is a gap in the plugin. If not making these items a built-in functionality, at least make this a paid add-on.

    Thanks for reaching out.

That’s a great suggestion. Most users don’t have 150 forms but it is certainly not out of the question since Ninja Forms does not limit the number of forms you create and/or use, nor the number of submissions you have. I will enter this as a feature request so that it can be considered for a future release.

Unfortunately we do not have a way to export or import submissions at this time. You are always welcome to download .csv files and use whatever tool you wish to import (if there is one) or save them. If you want to go the database route you can find them in wp_posts and post_type = nf_sub.

    Thanks

    Mia
