Import timeout

    Recently I had to uninstall and reinstall my wordpress blog. I also ended up having to delete the database along with it since it was corrupt. Before doing so I exported all my posts and comments using a WordPress eXtended RSS (WXR) file. I’m now trying to use this file to import all my comments and posts (9 months worth) and when I try to do it, the server times out. The file is only around 1.5 megs so the size shouldn’t be too much to handle. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated since a lot of hard work went into this blog.

    I too am experiencing time out when i attempt to import my blogger blogs to my self hosted WP ( blogger version is new, and I checked line 84 for what it said, there is NO 2 on the link there)
    can someone please tell me how I can import my blogger blogs? Godaddy said I was to get support from WP on this issue, as they do not give it for these applications.
