Hi! I want to import XML to pressbb. Everything works great, but I can’t see how I can specify in which forum category to import.

Do you mean that you’re trying to connect imported topics/replies to specific forums? If so, you’ll need to import the forum ID into the “_bbp_forum_id” Custom Field. Depending on the data in your import file, you may be able to use PHP functions and/or our API to connect the forums/topics/replies.

There are quite a few custom fields used by bbPress, so I’d suggest using a plugin like ARI Adminer (see: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/ari-adminer/) to investigate which fields you need to import and what data needs to go into them.

My XML is with random products. When I choose to create as posts, I can choose “Category”. But when I choose to create as TOPICS in my bbpress forums, they publishing without category.

I tried “_bbp_forum_id” , but it’s not working, they still posting “(No Forum)”.
