Import with Special Characters

    Hi

    I have a csv file which contains special characters that have been converted to their associated html entities, eg – ® -> ® , ™ -> ™

    If I import this csv file into my site with your plugin, will those characters be imported and converted to their correct symbols, ie ® , ™ ?

    Or is there anything I need to do beforehand before importing the csv into the site?

    Hi @designtwo2,

    Our plugin imports data from the CSV file into the database as it is. Whatever data is in the file will be imported by the plugin. Please make sure that you save your file as UTF-8 encoded before importing.
