IMPORTANT: Plugin Discontinuation

    Due to legal and ethical concerns over the source of the data used by the getAddress.io API, and out of a desire to protect both myself and my users, I have little choice but to discontinue this plugin. I will be requesting plugin removal from the ww.wp.xz.cn repository 30 days from now (December 5, 2025)

    Consequently, with the v3.2.4 update, a cutoff timer will be kicked off that will disable lookup facilities 30 days from installation.

    A notice will be displayed in the admin panel alerting you to this, along with the cutoff date. You are welcome to deactivate and uninstall the plugin prior to the cutoff date.

    After the cutoff date, lookup facilities will no longer be available (and a different admin notice will be displayed) but there will be no other impact on your websites.

    I am unable to recommend any other postcode lookup services or plugins, but if anyone has any queries relating to this decision please do post them here and I will do my best to answer.

    Apologies for any inconvenience this may bring, and thank you to all of my users for using my plugin over the past few years.
