Hello sdcorrey,
I don’t have my computer at the moment, but I’m pretty sure you are correct, that the new version of the plugin does not account for hierarchy. Can you post screenshots of your Gather Content account (or describe it) so that I can try to duplicate and test?
As I mentioned, I don’t have my computer (it’s in for repair), but when I get it back, I’ll be happy to test.
Thanks!
Sure thing! Here’s one example but we are seeing it across all 5 of our GC projects. We have the content all arranged in GC with parent and sub-pages but when imported into WordPress the structure is flat with no parents assigned. I checked a test install of WordPress from a while ago and it was definitely working before, which made things really easy for developing large sites.

This is on WP 4.6.1 and version 3.0.0.8 of the plugin. Also this is on a clean install of WordPress with only html5 boilerplate theme and the GC plugin.
Thanks!

Thank you for the update. We have added this feature request to the roadmap, and will hopefully be able to tackle it in the near future.
Thanks Justin, having this working would be a huge deal for us as GatherContent is becoming a key part of our workflow for creating new sites and it would be great to not have to rebuild the site structure a second time when importing content.
Hey, we actually just released 3.0.2 which supports importing hierarchy from GatherContemt. It does not yet support pushing hierarchy changes back to GatherContent as we are waiting for changes to be implemented to the GatherContent API. Please update and let us know what you think! https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/gathercontent-import/changelog/
Just tested this, works great! Thanks!
