    Hi,
    I used the Import and export users and customers plugin to create a list of customers with their passwords. However, when I test to log in with their mail address/password combination, I receive the message that the password for the mail address is wrong.
    When I download the list again, I can see that the original passwords are still the same, so everything seems to have been imported correctly. I used an export css as temple for the import.
    Only when I reset the password manually I’m able to log in. What’s going wrong?
    Kind regards
    Bart

    @bartvinckier,

    Are you using plain text passwords (in this case you should name the column “Password”) or are you using the passwords like they are stored in the database (in this case you should use “user_pass”).

    Thanks for your quick reply, Javier! I’m not sure how I can see the difference, but my template used user_pass, do I’ll just try the other option. I’ll keep you posted!

    user_pass is only for hashed passwords, so please, if you are using text passwords, change the name of the column.
