• Hi,
I’m migrating content from a site on a multisite to a standalone site.

Usually, when I export the content (posts, pages, media, users etc) everything will work as expected as long as the same plugins are present on the new site.

I have over 100 sites to move to standalone wordpress instances, and this method has been working until recently.

Now – Stackable is having a few problems. Several pages are importing where the blocks are listed as “Unsupported” and do not bring the styling.

Other pages on the same import have sucessfully brought the block over.

    I’ve so far tried:
    – Clearing caches
    – Clearing browser caches
    – Checking the blocks are working on the donor site correctly (they are)
    – Importing then installing Stackable
    – Installing stackable first then importing content.
    – Cutting and pasting the blocks from one site to the other (via copy all blocks in the block editor)

The new site will not copy the stackable blocks, they repeated come over as “unsupported”.

Any help would be really appreciated – I do not have time to manually recreate all of the pages.

    Thanks
    Laura

    Hi,

I have figured out what the issue is.

The site Im migrating is very out of date – new versions of the plugin no longer offer the blocks being used.

Is there a way to step through updates and migrate to new blocks?

    Thanks

    L

    Hi @whonickedmyname ,

Since the site is using older blocks that are no longer available in the latest version, you can re-enable them for migration. Here’s how:

    1. Go to Stackable Settings in your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Navigate to the Miscellaneous tab.
    3. Under Migration Settings, enable Load version 2 blocks in the editor.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help with!
