importing can sometimes create duplicate entries

    One thing I’ve found, not sure if it’s a bug or just how the plugin was built, but if I import a csv file with redirects that are already in the database, it will still add them in, then I have a duplicate entry. Does this affect the functionality of the plugin at all if there’s two entries?

    Yes, the plugin doesn’t check if a redirection already exists. Having duplicate redirects won’t break anything, but it will be more confusing for you
