Could you kindly deactivate all other plugins and try again? Some plugins (mostly security) could be blocking your server from contacting ours.
If all other plugins are deactivated and you’re still having issues, could you please confirm the PHP version on your host / website? We recommend having PHP 7.0 or latest possible.
I deactivated all other plugins and tried again. It is still trying and at 0%. My php is 7.3

@thebsp It finally worked for me after several tries and days. I did not have to turn off any other plugins. This seems to be the answer for everything wordpress, like turning off your pc and then back on to “fix” a computer system, all just busy work for the unexplained. But I do believe its partly host fault. The demo content is huge. Eventually it was not worth it. Too many pictures added to Media, and then all that content then needs to be personalized for your site.
Also glad you at least got a response. I posted over a month ago and never got a reply. One of the major reasons why I will not upgrade to premium. At least help clients who use your product and advertise it. So its all not free for the developer and me. Sure buying the upgrade gets you quicker support (supposedly), but even without paying, we are still advertising for the plugin by having the by-line. So developer is getting advertising.
