• Dear Support,

I’m using Shortcodes Ultimate to enhance our new website, and I am really enjoying the results.

However, I seem to be having a problem importing a CSV file for the Table creation code feature.

My goal is to simply create a program schedule for our broadcast channels. I don’t want to have to do this all by hand weekly, so I thought the Table code with the CSV importing would help reduce the labor for that process. Then we can just export the program schedule as a CSV from our Avelin Broadcast System.

Unfortunately, the results aren’t formatting properly.

    You can see it here:

    http://www.dedhamtv.com/broadcast-schedule/public-channel/

The first table was done by hand.

The second was done using the imported CSV file.

It looks like the short code formatted the second table’s first row as a header row, and there are no columns despite the fact that the time and name are separated by a comma.

I could use the header row with two columns that say: TIME | SHOW

I first used Excel to export the CSV file and absolutely nothing happened, all the data in the table were just listed as two lines of text, each value separated by commas but looking like one long string of words, numbers, and commas.

Then I created a plain text CSV file by hand, and the results are what you see on the second table of that page.

I’m using a Mac running OS 10.8, if that makes a difference.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thank you,
    Nick
