What was included in the backup you downloaded?
A full backup includes database + folders/files (i.e. uploads, themes, wp-config file, plugins)
How did you upload files/folders to restore/reinstall your site?
How did you import the database?
What stuff is now showing in your file manager area in the WP-Content folder?
Are all the tables showing in your database?
Is your WP-Config file properly set?
Have to contacted your webhosting vendor to see if they can offer guidance with restore/reinstall your website database and folders/files in your specific hosting plan?

I exported everything. I tried using the standard import feature through the dashboard. It would hang up on the third step. I downloaded a plugin called All Import and that’s what imported what it did. The only thing it imported was posts and users.

-are you able to get in touch with the support team of your webhosting?
they might have some guidance specific to your account.
-can you clarify which plguin you used “All Import” — there are several with similar names. https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/search/all+import/

It was WP All Import.
I have contacted the host and am currently uploading the files via FTP. I’m hoping this works.

Glad to hear your webhost is able to guide you in your account.
Uploading via FTP is a good way to get files/folders (plugins, themes, uploads) into the WP-Content folder.

I uploaded everything via FTP and now I can no longer see the home page and cannot see the admin page to log in to the dashboard. I guess something got overwritten that shouldn’t have been or a corrupt file. I’m getting a http error 500 notice.
