Importing from MT makes posts have wrong username

    Hi all.

    I am working on the import of a rather large movable type website (2000+ posts). I tried importing it hundreds of times on WordPress and I am having lots of problems. Since the import file is large, I had to split it into 10 smaller files.

    When I import the first time, wordpress creates the usernames I had on MT (3 users). The following 9 files I import get all screwed, my posts are assigned to other user, and other user’s posts are assigned to me.

    I tried everything, I create the users manually and assigned the posts correctly, I deleted everything, tried importing less files.

    It doesnt matter what I do it always get the usernames screwed 🙁

    FYI

    I thought that I could change the users directly in the DB.

    Problem is everytime I upload a file (had to split the posts is several files) it assigns the posts to another one, completely randomic, so some files it keeps my posts correctly, some times it assigns my posts to user 1, sometimes to user 2.

    Since I have to split the posts in several files it’s impossible for me to do a mass change directly on the DB. 🙁
