Importing oders

    I have already imported orders to a new site but before I could go live, I received about 5 more orders on the old site. I want to add these 5 orders to the new site. Will the plugin import these 5 orders and delete all the existing ones on the new site or will it add these 5 orders to the new database? Thank you.

    Hi @trobaz,

    No, the existing orders will not be deleted when you import new orders. The new orders will be added to the order list along with the other orders.

    Thank you. That worked. Unfortunately I used a different importer/exporter plugin before I tried your plugin. That importer/exporter created *new* order numbers. Your importer kept the original order numbers. I am thinking about exporting all orders again from the old website and importing to the new website (I only imported 5 orders the last time). Does this mean that I will have duplicate orders but with different order numbers? I hope so, ’cause then I can delete the new order numbers generated by the 1st plugin I tried. Thank you. I hope you understood this long, drawn-out question.

    Hi @trobaz,

    Yes, you may please export the orders again and then import them using our plugin. Before importing the orders please make sure that you delete the old orders which are having the wrong order number.
    Please note that in order to import orders with the same order number, the order ID that is in the CSV file has to be available on your importing site. If the ID is already used for any other post then the order number cannot be retained.
