Importing Posts to Customs Posts on the same website

Hi Everyone,

I have been running a lyrics website with over 100+ lyrics under the general posts section I just a bought a new theme for my website, and it has a custom post type for the lyrics, where you can add the album and singer too. Is it possible to import those posts to the custom posts section, where i can edit them after. Will really appreciate any help.
