    Hi all!

I am using the default product import function to import products from a CSV file. I have a problem with product attributes – I seem to be unable to import more than one attribute for variation products. I’ve updated WP to the newest version and tried renaming columns, but I still can’t figure out what’s missing.

For attributes, I’ve set: attribute name (Omadus 1 nimi, Omadus 2 nimi), attribute values (Omadus 1 väärtused, Omadus 2 väärtused), attribute visibility (Omadus 1 nähtavus, Omadus 2 nähtavus), attribute global (Omadus 1 globaalsus, Omadus 2 globaalsus).

Has anyone here run into the same problem?

    Hi there,

I suspect the language here is tripping me up somewhat and I’m having a hard time conceptualizing the CSV file – Do you have a direct link to that CSV file in order to take a closer look at the structure?

Also, can you confirm that you’ve already worked through the CSV table structure docs found at https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/wiki/Product-CSV-Import-Schema#csv-columns-and-formatting?

Finally, and just to confirm, are you using the core CSV import function that comes with WooCommerce?

Hi, yes, that’s right, I’m using the core import function. I created a sample of the product file that I’m using and translated the column names that are related to attributes: Link

Is there something wrong with my file?

Hi @kcrolin. Sorry that we missed your last post. I wasn’t able to load the CSV file but my suggestion is to create one product with multiple attributes and variations. Then export the product into a CSV file so that you can compare your CSV file with the one generated by WooCommerce.

Thanks for your input. Well, turns out my file was fine after all – I logged in using another admin account and imported my file without any issues. Did my previous attempts leave some meta data that was interfering or what? I noticed my site has also became slower after multiple imports even though I’ve only got about 200 products. Not sure if it’s the import’s fault or not, but I’d like to prevent it from happening again in the future…
