Importing RSS categories when using Feed to Post | ww.wp.xz.cn

First off, great job on the plugin! Impressive work for a one-man team (and easy 5-stars).

I am using Feed-to-post from a tumblr, and the tumblr RSS includes categories. Does your plugin have a way to convert the RSS categories into wordpress categories?

right now, the plugin doesn’t pull in categories from feeds…only a very few number of rss feeds includes categories, which is why it isn’t included in the current version.

if you’re interested, here is a beta version of the plugin where it captures a category if there is one

at this point, the category is in the array as itemcategory, but I haven’t had a chance yet to output this..if you know a bit of php, it’s easy to do that part.
