The features list mentions compatibility with the WordPress Playground ( https://ww.wp.xz.cn/playground/ ) but I don’t see any details about that.

Are there any restrictions / limitations about importing a .WPRESS file into the playground? I was able to install the plugin. But when I tried to import a .WPRESS file it hung up at the “Mu-plugins activated” stage.

    Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi! Yes, WordPress Playground is supported. You can export and import to and from Playground.
The issue that you experience is likely because your source site has mu-plugin(s) that is not compatible with WordPress Playground. Disable the mu-plugins by deleting them on the WordPress Playground site after import and the site should work.

Thanks for the help! The catch is that I’m stuck on the install with a spinning wheel and the Mu-plugins Activated message. I don’t see any way to continue past this point and I’m pretty sure if I refresh the page that it will lose the Playground instance and start over again with an empty instance.

Is there an easy way to disable the plugins during (or before) the import?

Sorry if these are basic questions, I’m not a WordPress person and I’m trying to help someone who got a .wpress file from someone else.
