I am making the switch from wordpress.com to ww.wp.xz.cn and every time I try to import my content I get a time out error. Is there something in particular I should be doing to get the content imported?

Hi, could you provide a screenshot of the browser with the error output?
Did you install WordPress Importer plugin and importing with it?

Try braking the export up into smaller files. I often have to do it by month depending on how many posts there are.

Thank you for the ideas! I ended up attempting the import process about five times before it worked successfully.

Once the content is imported, is there a way to update all of the links so they are the same as when they were on wordpress.com?
